I am wondering how much interest there would be in having a ride in Oklahoma soon... I am located one hour east of Oklahoma City and am really wanting to get a ride together as a way to meet people. I would like some advice on how to get one going, and how much interest there would be in having one...

Megg, I am very familiar with the area you are in. I know they have a HUGE ride over by Talequah, they ride from there to Ft. Smith and are the grand entry for the Old Fort Days Rodeo. I rode two days of the ride one year, but was unable to make the leg into Ft. Smith. Look at the rodeo dates and see what you can find.

I'm not too far from OKC. It's a days drive.
We would be interested.

Give me one broke horse with a good fittin' saddle that's easy on yer back,
One good woman, that makes up the difference for everything that I lack
One last chance to sell my calves, before prices go to hell again,
